And usually we get approx 200 kids. This year, I think we saw maybe 2 groups of kids walking the street, even before it rained. And yes, the costumes get less and less involved each year, and some of the older kds are majorly rude, and it does seem as if some magic is gone. I remember Halloween (I'm talking 1960-1968 approx) as one wonderful night when the kids went out by themselves, and it was magic! No one brought their parents -ever. Now I have to buy as much candy for adults as I do the kids. And what is this "driving from house to house" business?
